Blackfield Associates are currently assisting a global pharmaceutical organisation in the search for multiple Senior Procurement Managers for a large CAPEX investment, this will be a long term contract position.

Job Description: Senior Procurement Manager – CAPEX
Position Overview:
The Senior Procurement Manager – CAPEX will be responsible for managing all capital expenditure (CAPEX) procurement activities within the organization. This role will involve leading the procurement process from vendor contact through to contract signature and archiving. The Senior Procurement Manager will ensure that all procurement activities are conducted efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company policies and regulations.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.
- Manage vendor communications, including inquiries and negotiations.
Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Purchase Order (PO) Preparation:
- Prepare detailed RFQs and draft purchase orders based on project requirements.
- Ensure all documentation aligns with internal policies and procedures.
Tendering and Bid Evaluation:
- Lead the tendering process for CAPEX projects, ensuring transparency and competitiveness.
- Evaluate bids based on price, quality, and compliance with project specifications.
