Senior Quality Assurance Operations Manager

Blackfield Associates are partnered with a pharmaceutical organisation based in the Swindon area, looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Operations Manager.

As the Senior Quality Assurance Operations Manager, you will be responsible for providing QA oversight, technical expertise and leadership across all aspects of product manufacturing from raw materials, through warehouse activities, engineering, quality control, manufacturing and operations support.

Other day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Ensuring the successful introduction of new products, equipment, and processes, adhering to both internal and external standards, and overseeing their lifecycle. Building strong client relationships and proactively addressing their expectations.

* Acting as the representative for QA Ops during Regulatory Inspections and audits, including client and corporate assessments. Additionally, you’ll be ready to step in as a backup for other members of the Quality Leadership team, and even stand in for the Site Quality Director when required.

* Upholding the highest standards in GMP compliance, training requirements, Data Integrity & Good Documentation Practice (GDP), and ensuring all work, including that of your team, aligns with applicable quality documents such as SOPs, BMRs, Protocols, and more.

The preferred candidate for the role will have substantial experience working in a pharmaceutical Quality department on a sterile manufacturing site. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record to make sound decisions regarding the evaluation of GMP compliance, and leadership abilities in the management of QA oversight.
