Blackfield Associates are joining forces with an independent engineering company based in Denmark in search of a Senior Commissioning and Qualification Engineer for a permanent position.
Responsibilities
The engineer will be situated in the offices at Kalundborg, Vipperød, or the Copenhagen region and be expected to travel between these locations to meet the clients’ needs.
The daily responsibilities include:
- Commissioning of facilities
- Executing shutdowns
- Managing small and medium-sized projects with a focus on C&Q activities
- Testing and qualification of equipment
- Fault finding on plant
- Participation in and execution of FAT and SAT tests
- Updating plant documentation (P&ID diagrams, etc. in collaboration with your colleagues)
- Analysis of facilities (line-walk, process measurement, etc.)
- Execute qualification activities of clean utilities, SIP, cleanrooms, HVAC, and some process equipment such as filtration
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A commissioning, machinery or electrical background
- You have more than 5 years of experience from the pharmaceutical industry – including experience with commissioning machinery and building installations
- Experience with plant documentation (P&IDs, isometrics, electrical documentation, etc.)
- Experience with BMS/FMS and SCADA
- Knowledge of working on brownfield and greenfield sites.
- You have previously worked with process and ventilation systems
- Strong knowledge of GMP requirements
- Experience in training staff or a team is desirable
- Fluency in Danish and English
- Access to own vehicle
