Responsibilities
The individual will be responsible for managing and overseeing the quality program of subcontractors on the construction site. Key responsibilities include:
- Subcontractor Quality Oversight: Ensure subcontractors adhere to the project’s quality management system and standards. This includes reviewing and approving their Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Project Quality Systems: Maintain a deep understanding of the project’s overall quality management systems and ensure all subcontractor activities align with these standards.
- On-Site Inspections: Conduct regular inspections on-site to verify that the construction work meets the specified quality requirements. Identify any non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
- Auditing: Perform audits of subcontractor processes and documentation to ensure compliance with project quality standards and contractual requirements. Provide feedback and support continuous improvement initiatives.
