QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER – WOKING AREA – Competitive Salary
A global pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Manager to join the team based at their facility in the Woking area on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Head of Quality, the core function of the role will be to lead and manage the strategic and operational performance of the QA department, ensuring the successful delivery of business strategy, KPIs and objectives. You will be responsible for the organisation’s quality regulatory requirements, be responsible for leading direct reports and the QA department. You will also handle external communication and company representation with relevant industry associations.
To be considered for the role candidates should have strong leadership / team management skills and experience, along with experience of preparing for and managing UK Regulatory Inspections, Internal & External audits. In addition you will have comprehensive knowledge of EU GMP and Quality Assurance, including products and processes used in the manufacture of licensed medicines. Significant practical experience of aseptic manufacturing and filling operations, ideally including biological products is required.
Experience in the manufacture of bio-pharmaceuticals, as well as QC Analytical experience is preferred.
