Project Engineer – Cell & Gene

Blackfield Associates is working with a Cell & Gene therapy company who are seeking a Project Engineer with experience in aseptic manufacturing environments, biologics, ATMPs, or Cell & Gene Therapy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing capital projects in a cGMP environment and implementing, monitoring, and improving reliability solutions across the entire lifecycle of site assets and capital projects.

Key responsibilities include developing project engineering plans, managing contractors and external engineers, tracking project performance indicators, and supporting the development of site master plans. The candidate will also be responsible for developing and maintaining proactive maintenance and condition monitoring programs within the organization, developing asset management strategies, and conducting root cause analyses for critical equipment failures.

The successful candidate must be self-motivated, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms. Other key competencies include exercising good judgment, making informed decisions, and effectively communicating with stakeholders across the organization.
