We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead the management and delivery of hyper-scale Data Center projects. The successful candidate will ensure project success in terms of reputation, profitability, and client satisfaction within a multi-disciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Business Unit Directors in achieving business objectives.
- Build, grow, and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Deliver high-quality services, ensuring project and program management meet client requirements.
- Manage projects according to business procedures and standards.
- Administer contracts as a Contract Administrator, Employer’s Agent, or Project Manager.
- Identify and drive new business development opportunities.
- Advise Directors on potential project risks, particularly those impacting professional indemnity insurance.
- Lead and motivate high-performance teams.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven project management experience, coupled with experience of delivering Data Center projects in Europe.
- In-depth knowledge of project management techniques and construction industry standards.
- Proven experience in administering construction contracts.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Engineering degree or technical education in a construction-related field.
This is a full-time in country role, rotation is not offered. As such, it would suit candidates already based in Portugal, or those who are ready, willing, and able to relocate.
