A world leading manufacturing organisation are recruiting for a Production Engineer to join their team, in Hampshire, on a permanent basis. The main scope of the role will encompass responsibilities of delivering against continuous improvement initiatives/projects/programmes in order to maximise yields, volumes and module/process performances/efficiencies.
Responsibilities
You will be tasked with authoring and reviewing documentation, within the engineering department. This will primarily be related to commissioning and qualification activities.
Requirements
- Appraise, specify, develop, commission, validate and test new and existing packaging automated systems and equipment.
- Conduct equipment & process: safety compliance assessments, appraisals, capability studies and validation/verifications programmes in accordance with medical device regulatory requirements.
- Author and review technical documentation, ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements.
- Be familiar with and use structured problems-solving techniques such as Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC.
- Identify and implementing process improvements, including optimisation of productivity, yield and quality, in line with change control requirements.
To be considered for the role you will have strong problem-solving skills and have previously worked with engineering documentation. Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment is essential.
Ideally the candidate will come from a technical/engineering background and more recently be involved in compliance/documentation-based activities. A strong command of written English is essential.
