Procurement Manager Capital Projects

Blackfield Associates are currently partnered with a key client in the UK in the search for a Capital Projects Procurement Manager within Chemical Engineering.

The Procurement Manager is responsible for the optimisation and implementation of the project procurement strategy for a specific major project currently in design phase, ensuring all Engineering Consultants, EPCm, Capital equipment and services to be procured is:

* Defined and in line with contracting strategy for the project;
* Specified in the procurement plan, and the procurement plan is up-to-date;
* Lead, or ensure that, the scoping of the equipment packages are properly defined;
* Lead, or support, contract negotiations for equipment packages;
* Performance manage FEED consultant, and any nominated EPCm contractor, execute procurement activities for all equipment packages to contract close out;
* Lead selection of EPCm contractor, including contract negotiation of EPCm contracts

Experience with capital project procurement management gained within industrial, process or construction industry projects is essential.

This will be an initial 6+ month contract with the option for extension.

Please note this role is deemed INSIDE IR35 and offers a competitive daily rate along with all expenses paid.
