Process Engineer – North East – Competitive Salary
A leading pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation, based in the North East are looking for a Process Engineer, to join their team, on a permanent basis.
The main purpose of the role is the Delivery of Technology Transfer objectives and stewardship of the standards required to effectively deliver technology transfer objectives.
The principal accountabilities include:
* Specify, purchase, design, qualify and handover effective manufacturing systems to Asset Teams ensuring plant modifications have credible delivery plans.
* Interface with internal/ external technical experts and peers to maintain a broad knowledge of the technology and regulatory issues that impact on the biopharmaceutical businesses enabling technology options to be identified evaluated, and compared.
* Agree and through effective reporting adhere to capital expenditure plans.
* Lead the transfer and scale up of new processes and technologies to the manufacturing plants ensuring requirements for EHS and cGMP compliance are delivered on-time. Effectively realise this through manufacturing records.
* Transfer processes from R&D to Manufacture ensuring that manufacturing capabilities are reflected in the R&D development process.
* Resolve operational problems such as deviations / QIPs / CAPAs by acting as System Owner / SME.
The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Engineer and hold a Degree in Chemical/Bio Engineering, with a minimum of 2 years experience in the areas of process development scale-up, technical transfer, plant design, qualification and technical support.
