PROCESS DEVELOPMENT SCIENTIST – FLINTSHIRE – Competitive Salary

A growing pharmaceutical organisation are currently recruiting for a Process Development Scientist to join their facility based in the Flintshire area on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work in brand new laboratories, which are due to be completed around June time this year.

This is a laboratory based position, 80% of your time will be spent in the lab and 20% in the office. The core function of the role will be to perform the conjugation of small molecules and polymers to antibodies and proteins. You will characterise manufactured antibody and protein conjugates using HPLC and mass spectrometry, present data to clients and internal teams and perform tasks following protocols, SOPs and risk assessments.

To be considered for the role candidates will need to be Degree educated, BSc in Chemistry / Protein Biochemistry or related discipline, with experience in at least one of the following:

* – Protein conjugation / modification
* – Protein downstream purification – chromatography and TFF
* – Protein physiochemical analysis – specifically HPLC and Mass Spectrometry
