A Gobal Pharmaceutical & Biotech client are seeking a skilled OT/IT Security Consultant to join them on a long term freelance consultant basis. This fully remote role will involve implementing OT security baselines and the CIS 18 Controls Framework to secure critical OT and IT systems, including production facilities and laboratories, on a global scale.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct security assessments for OT/IT systems and identify risks in pharmaceutical environments.
- Implement CIS 18 Controls and OT security standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations like GxP and FDA.
- Develop incident response and disaster recovery plans tailored for OT systems.
- Advise client teams on cybersecurity strategies, regulatory compliance, and OT/IT risk management.
- Collaborate on securing ICS, SCADA, and other OT assets across global operations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of OT/IT security experience in industries like pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, or critical infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of OT security baselines, CIS 18 Controls, and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Experience with ICS/SCADA, network security, and vulnerability management.
- Excellent communication skills with a client-facing approach.
- Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or GICSP preferred.
