We are supporting a leading Biotech in Denmark in finding a skilled PI Systems Engineer to join the project. This role involves interfacing Aveva PI with other automation systems, configuring PI tags, and working within the PI Asset Framework Server. You will also support the project schedule and strategy, ensure effective operation of the Critical Alarm Handling System (CAHS), and manage OPCUA and other interfaces between VDS/BMS SCADA and PI. This position is primarily on-site work with some off-site work possible.
Responsibilities
- PI System Integration: Interface Aveva PI with DeltaV, Aveva SCADA, and other automation systems.
- Configuration & Tagging: Create PI tags, configure interfaces, and generate CAHS tags in the PI database.
- Event Frames & Asset Framework: Develop Event Frames and work within the PI Asset Framework Server.
- Schedule Support: Assist in aligning project schedules with PI implementation strategies.
- SCADA System Support: Assist with AVEVA SCADA system operations.
- Project Oversight: Monitor and report on project task status to ensure timelines are met.
Requirements
- Technical Expertise: Solid background in SCADA systems, Siemens PLCs, DeltaV, and database systems like SQL and PI.
- Pharmaceutical Industry Experience: 3-5 years minimum experience in pharmaceutical automation projects.
- Business Alignment: Experience aligned with current business needs is preferred.

Education & Certifications:
- Minimum Qualification: B.Sc in Engineering (Automation, Chemical, Electrical, or similar).
- Advantageous Certifications: Project Management certifications are a plus.
