Responsibilities
Blackfield Associates are supporting a large pharmaceutical manufacturer in their search for a Mechanical Supervisor to join their project based in Basel-Country on an initial 12 month contract.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the installation and maintenance of piping systems on-site.
- Ensure all work aligns with engineering designs, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and quality assessments of piping installations.
- Lead and manage a team of piping engineers and technicians to achieve project objectives.
- Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including progress updates and safety records.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to piping systems promptly.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a Piping Supervisor within industrial or construction environments.
- In-depth knowledge of piping systems, materials, and construction techniques.
- Competency in interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in both German and English.
- Relevant certifications and qualifications in piping or mechanical engineering.
