Blackfield Associates are supporting a leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing organisation in recruiting for a GMP Trainer to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
Join this dynamic training team to train and support all operational GMP needs at the manufacturing site in Hertfordshire. You will play a crucial role in equipping the production team members with the skills needed to manufacture high-quality products for clinical trial programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Train operators in multiple GMP activities.
- Design and create interactive training packages.
- Deliver engaging training sessions both in person and virtually.
- Conduct inductions for new starters.
- Train on various activities including cell counting, flow cytometry, sterility assays, PCR, and cell culture techniques.
- Transfer technical knowledge of new processes from the Product Development team to the Technical Operations Team.
- Maintain a comprehensive GMP training programme with annual updates.
- Collaborate with external service providers to design relevant training.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
- Develop innovative training materials.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems for curriculum development.
Requirements
Demonstrated Skills and Competencies

- Training development and delivery experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to present clearly and logically.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.

- Advanced skills in EXCEL and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of adult learning principles.
- Stakeholder management experience.
Preferred:
- Biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Experience in a busy laboratory or commercial environment.
- Degree in Biological Science discipline.
- Familiarity with GMP regulations.
- Experience in e-learning creation tools like Articulate.
- Familiarity with biopharmaceutical and cell-based techniques.
- Experience in a GMP environment.
