FORMULATION GROUP LEADER – LEICESTERSHIRE AREA – Competitive Salary
A leading pharmaceutical organisation are currently recruiting for a Formulation Group Leader to join their facility based in the Leicestershire area on a permanent basis due to expansion.
Reporting to the Formulation Development Manager, the core function of the role will be to manage a team of Formulation Development Scientists & Technicians, handling recruitment, performance management and staff development. You will maintain a portfolio of development projects, adhering to client timelines. You will also be responsible for the quality of the scientific output from formulation and process studies to ensure CMC activities meet current regulatory and cGMP standards.
To be considered for the role candidates will need to be Degree educated with a proven track record in developing drug product formulations and processes. Significant hands on experience in pharmaceutical development, GMP manufacturing and packaging processes is essential, as well as experience working with Solid Dosage forms. Previous experience of supervising/managing others and dealing with clients will also be required.
