Engineering Manager (Full-Time)
Location: Chicago, IL
Overview:
We are seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee multiple departments within the company’s engineering function, focusing on sterile injectable manufacturing. The role involves managing facility operations, equipment maintenance, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage developmental engineering functions, including reliability, mechanical systems, and design activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards (FDA, EU).
- Oversee preventative maintenance, equipment upgrades, and plant footprint planning.
- Lead engineering projects and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
- Manage team performance, training, and ensure efficient operations.
Requirements:
- BS or MS in Engineering.
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in biotech, pharma, or medical device industries, with experience in sterile injectables.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and technical skills.
