In partnership with an industry leader within the Data Center market, Blackfield Associates are seeking to recruit an Electrical Project Manager (OFCI) to join a high performance, and dedicated team on a hyperscale Data Center project in Sandviken, Sweden on a permanent basis.
Our client delivers turnkey projects across Europe, specialising in the design, construction, and commissioning of data centers, offering a full range of services from CSA to MEP.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead, interfacing with client-appointed vendors and escalating OFCI (Owner-Furnished Contractor-Installed) items as needed.
- Manage the OFCI team to ensure all works are engineered, planned, and installed in alignment with project requirements.
- Support the project’s engineering, programming, and commissioning efforts by liaising with key stakeholders.
- Coordinate vendor equipment with construction schedules and project timelines.
- Lead weekly meetings with clients, vendors, and stakeholders, providing updates on OFCI package progress.
- Identify and escalate potential issues and risks, working to mitigate them.
- Provide oversight and technical expertise, resolving contract disputes when necessary.
- Maintain strict client security and confidentiality throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience of working within a Contractor environment, working on large-scale projects.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related subject.
- Strong negotiation, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in engineering-related software systems.
- Experience managing complex project installations.
