Responsibilities:
- Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols throughout the project.
- Project Management: Define and communicate electrical objectives, including safety, scope, schedule, site management, quality, and logistics. Oversee subcontractor performance and alignment with project goals.
- Client and Subcontractor Relations: Serve as the primary contact for electrical subcontractors, participating in selection and procurement processes. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and their representatives.
- Decision-Making and Support: Engage in project decision-making, provide practical solutions during the design phase, and assist team members with coordination activities.
- Site Setup and Maintenance: Manage the setup of site facilities, including cabins and essential services (water, power, IT, waste management). Ensure the site remains clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Documentation and Execution Plans: Contribute to the development and understanding of the project’s scope, construction execution plans (CPEPs), and ensure timely responses to technical submittals and RFIs.
- Contract Compliance and Risk Management: Understand the terms of the head contract and subcontracts, ensure compliance with change control and reporting procedures, and actively manage and mitigate electrical project risks.
Experience:
- Proven experience in managing electrical components of large-scale construction projects.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance in construction.
- Demonstrated ability to define project objectives and lead teams to achieve them.
- Experience in subcontractor management, procurement, and client relations.
- Familiarity with construction documentation, execution plans, and risk management strategies.
- Ability to maintain detailed records and ensure contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
