EHS Manager – Cheshire – Competitive Salary + Benefits

In partnership with a global chemicals manufacturer, Blackfield Associates are seeking an EHS Manager to join a high performance team based in Cheshire.

Working within an upper tier COMAH manufacturing facility, the successful EHS Manager will be responsible for providing guidance on requirements of legislation for the site, and keeping abreast of legislative updates and taking the necessary actions to remain compliant.
Other responsibilities include driving continuous improvement in EHS performance on site and developing, promoting and maintaining behavioural safety culture across the site, working with the wider team to develop and maintain waste and energy minimisation programs, providing the site’s EHS technical representation to external regulatory authorities, and providing significant involvement in the definition and prioritisation for EHS projects in the annual capital expenditure programme for the site in Cheshire, and other sites globally.

In order to be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have proven experience of managing Environmental, Health, and Safety aspects of a COMAH regulated manufacturing environment, as well as having a NEBOSH qualification or similar. This role would also suit advisors and consultants with a relevant EHS background looking to take a step up in their career.
