EC&I Engineer – Norfolk – Salary DOE + Benefits

In partnership with a growing, long standing, independent chemical manufacturing organisation, Blackfield Associates are looking to recruit an EC&I Engineer within their Norfolk based, upper tier COMAH manufacturing facility.

Working within a technically complex and safety conscious engineering environment, the successful EC&I Engineer will be responsible for assisting operational staff with the resolution of of engineering issues and implement Electrical, Controls, and Instrumentation improvements to a range of chemical process plants to maintain and increase production whilst complying with the legislative requirements of a highly regulated COMAH site.
Other responsibilities include carrying out inspections, creating designs, maintaining and testing EC&I systems whilst also contributing to the planned maintenance management systems.

In order to be considered for this opportunity, candidates must hold a formal qualification i.e. HNC/HND/Degree in an Electrical, Electronic, or Controls based discipline. It would be advantageous to have demonstrable knowledge and experience of PLC and DCS systems i.e. Rockwell / Siemens S7, as it would be to have a knowledge of applicable legislation i.e. COMAH / DSEAR / CompEx HaSaWA / HSE.

This opportunity is based in Norfolk and is commutable from Thetford, Great Yarmouth, Norwich, Kings Lynn, and other locations within the East Anglia region.
