Position Summary

As a Director within the Value & Access team, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and owning client relationships, managing large and/or multiple global projects simultaneously while ensuring quality work product, client satisfaction, and ongoing staff development. Working on multiple projects in parallel allows for broad exposure to a wide range of projects and clients. Directors are also responsible for business development with a contribution of sales. The Director will also work with their country-specific colleagues, US colleagues, as well as local agency partners in an effort to drive work and revenue across the network.

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

* Creating and managing all aspects of project work streams
* Ensuring project direction and managing project plans to fully meet all client deliverables
* Ensuring the work product contains data that is accurate and correctly cited in addition to ensuring the quality of work performed by the team
* Leading primary research with global payers, key opinion leaders, and physicians
* Synthesizing insights and recommendations from primary and secondary research
* Developing relevant pricing and market access strategy
* Leading client meetings and helping manage client expectations
* Developing and maintaining client relationships
* Integrating with local agency colleagues to support existing client opportunities
* Initiating and converting business development opportunities
* Developing expertise in specific therapeutic areas and demonstrating such expertise by leading development of products, pitches, etc.
* Serving as a strong leader of the local office
* Utilize skills and industry contacts to source new business opportunities
* Leading certain areas of practice development (e.g., marketing, recruiting, mentoring)

Qualifications

Minimum Required:

* Bachelor’s degree
* 10+ years of consulting or related business analytics/strategy experience, all of which is within the healthcare space (pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, diagnostics industry)
* Expertise in EU pricing & market access, developed via experience in healthcare consulting or within the pharmaceutical industry
* Interested candidates MUST have a background and experience in consulting

Preferred

* Bachelor’s degree in Science, Economics, Business or a related field is preferred; Master’s or PhD degree in Science, Economics, Business or a related field is an advantage
* Expertise in other global markets outside of primary country is a plus
* A strong track record in managing successful healthcare consulting projects, including excellent project and team management skills
* Track record of achievement that shows initiative and drive

* Strong MS Office literacy e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel
* Self-starting attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow rapidly
* Proven critical thinking, analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving skills
* Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, and an ability to build credibility with external and internal stakeholders
* Good time management and organizational skills
* Excellent project and client management skills
* Must possess strong attention to detail, motivation, and work ethic
* Strong presentation and communication skills
