We are seeking a skilled and experienced DeltaV System Engineer to join our team, focusing on design and change implementations within a site-based environment. This role is integral to ensuring that our control systems meet the highest standards of performance and compliance in a regulated industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing design changes and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage design changes to DeltaV control systems on-site.
- Ensure all design modifications are aligned with industry regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality teams to address and resolve any control system issues.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects, escalating issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the team on DeltaV control systems.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable.
- Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in DeltaV control systems is essential.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and projects, with a clear understanding of when to escalate issues.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in working within a regulated industry.
- Technical Interest: A strong interest in computers and automation technology is an advantage.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Education: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biotechnology, Automation, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, etc.).
- Eligibility to work in Ireland is required
