We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to support a major data center project. Reporting to the DCD CPM, you will act as the Assistant to the Employer’s Representative, overseeing the project from construction through to commissioning and handover. This role demands a Senior Project Manager with a strong MEP background and a deep understanding of data center handover/commissioning processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead project site meetings and maintain thorough communication with all stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a Project Execution Plan and ensure seamless project delivery.
- Manage change processes, risk mitigation, and quality control throughout the project.
- Oversee the integration and commissioning phases, ensuring all documentation and safety protocols are met.
- Regularly report on project status, safety, and progress to the DCD CPM.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure project alignment and timely completion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; OR 10+ years of equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of project management experience, specifically in large-scale MEP projects.
- Chartered or membership with a relevant professional body is preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
- Proven track record in managing complex, high-value construction projects.
