Job Description:
The Construction Manager will be responsible for the overall management and execution of construction activities for a pharmaceutical capital expenditure (CAPEX) project. This role is critical in ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and compliance standards required in the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all construction activities, including planning, scheduling, and coordination with contractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety, addressing any issues promptly.
- Liaise with project stakeholders, including internal teams, regulatory bodies, and external contractors, to ensure clear communication and alignment of project goals.
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures to meet the stringent requirements of pharmaceutical facilities.
- Manage risk assessments and mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods, and regulatory requirements specific to the pharmaceutical sector.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
