ANALYTICAL LABORATORY TECHNICAL LEADER – LEICESTERSHIRE AREA – Competitive Salary
An exciting pharmaceutical organisation are currently recruiting for an Analytical Laboratory Technical Leader to join their facility based in the Leicestershire area on a permanent basis due to consistent growth.
Reporting to the Group Leader, the core function of the role will be to act as the primary analytical lead for assigned projects. You will execute, delegate and monitor the progress of work daily to ensure timelines are met and community progress to both internal and external clients. You will provide technical and operational leadership, training and coaching to Senior Analysts, Analysts and Technicians. You will also take full ownership for the analytical activities required as part of their assigned projects and define the analytical strategy for new and ongoing projects.
To be considered for the role candidates will need to be Degree educated in Chemistry or a Life Science subject with a significant chemistry component. You must also have significant experience of analysing Pharmaceutical drug products in a GMP environment and have experience in LC analysis, stability study design and testing, HPLC method development and HPLC method validation. Experience of supervising and managing cGMP laboratory activities and staff meeting demanding timelines, as well as experience leading analytical development activities in support of Pharmaceutical development projects.
Experience of preparing CMC regulatory submission documentation, statistical data analysis techniques, dissolution method development validation and testing, raw material testing, cleaning verification and validation would be desirable.
