About In2scienceUK
In2scienceUK exists to unlock the potential of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and boost diversity and inclusion in the sector to ensure the UK remains at the forefront of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) based industries.
In2scienceUK works with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds including those who: receive free school meals, have been in or experienced care, have parents who do not hold higher education degrees.
The Access2science programme
This innovative programme sees science companies supporting the breakdown of barriers to social mobility for young people. Blackfield Associates will advertise their clients’ roles free of charge through the In2scienceUK website and other channels, introducing interested candidates from their alumni for interview.
We encourage clients to sign up to the programme, making an annual donation to In2scienceUK in support of furthering the work of the organisation whilst gaining access to a new diverse talent pool.
By facilitating introductions between In2scienceUK’s highly talented, qualified and diverse alumni and our clients in the Life Sciences industry, together we will provide opportunity for all, regardless of status, whilst enabling our clients to become more diverse, enriched and successful businesses.
Diversify your workforce now

Following Blackfield’s success over the past few years, we wanted to give something back and make a positive change within the Life Sciences industry. We’re very excited to be partnering with In2scienceUK and giving more young people the opportunity to achieve their goals with the STEM sector through the programme.
If your organisation is passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion and would like to ensure your roles are promoted to bright young people who often lack access to opportunities such as internships or entry level jobs, you can sign up to be part of positive change. By supporting the Access2science programme, your role will be distributed to In2scienceUK Alumni scientific and engineering graduates.
