Blackfield’s Macmillan Coffee Morning 2023
In support of Macmillan Cancer Support
Blackfield is proud to support Macmillan Cancer Support and this year, we fought against cancer by hosting our 8th Macmillan Coffee Morning at STR Group’s head office.
It’s always a deliciously fun way to support this worthwhile cause and this year didn’t disappoint.
On Wednesday 27th September, we were all encouraged to either bake or buy some yummy treats for the office and join together for a Cuppa and Cake.
As you can see from the photos, the team did a great job in providing us with an amazing spread of delicious sweet treats and savoury snacks to choose from. Those that weren’t as keen to get their rolling pins out still contributed by bringing lots of spare change with them and donated generously.
This year we are pleased to say we raised an amazing £248. Thank you to everyone at STR who generously donated. Every penny counts in the fight against cancer and the money raised at coffee mornings throughout the country will help to make sure no one has to face cancer alone!
A big thank you to Jodie Holmes for organising this wonderful event again and making sure everyone dug deep into those pockets. Everyone had a lovely morning and we’re already looking forward to the next one!
